Fast food is rooted in the culture of convenience, becoming the default solution for time-constrained lifestyles. Despite this, fast food is no longer truly fast, with declining service standards and increasingly processed offerings that prioritise efficiency over quality. Yet, consumers continue to rely on it due to habit, accessibility and lack of better alternatives.

KRONO addresses the contradiction between fast food’s intended purpose and its current reality. It explores how fast food can be reimagined through healthier ingredient substitutions and meals designed to support daily nutritional intake. By maintaining the familiarity of conventional fast food while improving its nutritional value, the project proposes a more considered alternative, one that aligns with modern expectations of wellbeing without sacrificing convenience.

Hello, I’m Karishma ☆⌒(ゝ。∂)

I’m a designer who creates to express, explore and make a difference. Design is how I make sense of the world and express what I’m drawn to. I’m always collecting inspiration from small fragments of the world, visual quirks and tiny details that might grow into something bigger. I believe design should feel intentional and lived-in — not just seen but felt. A reminder that even small details can hold emotion and meaning ୭ ˚. ᵎᵎ
