The DISLEKSIK MONSTA campaign is designed to raise awareness of dyslexia and normalise early screening for young children aged 5 to 7 in primary schools. Early intervention is important because it allows children with learning differences to receive support before academic challenges become more serious. Studies suggest that around 10% or more of children may have dyslexia, and many of these cases go undetected by both parents and teachers. By introducing screening at an early age, the campaign helps ensure that children receive the help they need as early as possible. The campaign focuses on children aged 5 to 7, a critical stage for the development of reading and writing skills. Early screening helps identify learning difficulties before children fall behind, allowing parents and teachers to provide support sooner.

Information booths will be set up in primary schools, where parents and teachers can collect screening kits and informational booklets. A roadshow will offer engaging, comfortable screenings for children, creating a fun, interactive experience. This will allow parents to receive screening results and obtain specialist assessments.

There will be gamified learning activities designed to support the primary school curriculum, helping children learn in a fun and interactive way. Teachers and specialists will be encouraged to share this with parents so that children can participate and enjoy learning with greater confidence.
