The Unforbidden Forest

Category
Life On Land

The Unforbidden Forest offers an immersive experience surrounded by the serene beauty of nature, aiming to bring visitors out of their comfort zones while also experiencing what it is like living inside a forest, with the implementation of the five senses to evoke emotions like waking up to the gentle rustle of leaves and the enchanting melodies of birds. This allows visitors to appreciate and respect nature and helps raise awareness of the importance of protecting and preserving our biodiversity in Singapore.

Diploma in Interior Architecture & Design

Tham Wai Hou

My design philosophy in interior architecture and design revolves around embracing the profound impact of human emotions on the built environment. Understanding and integrating the complexities of human emotions into the design process could create spaces that resonate deeply within them. Emotions such as joy, tranquillity and nostalgia can profoundly influence our experiences within architectural spaces, shaping how we perceive, interact with, and build a stronger connection. Whether through spatial planning, sensory stimuli, material selection, or aesthetic designs, I aim to design spaces that inspire and enrich the human experience.
