Not Another Brick is a tuition centre that cultivates a sympathetic and mindful culture within Singapore's education system and seeks to change the rat race mindset early on. Inspired by Japanese childcare nurseries, where building strong relationships is prioritised among students instead of aggressive competition, Not Another Brick introduces leisure to educational spaces and becomes a second home for students to feel the spontaneity of chancing upon social encounters. Here, positive identity is encouraged, and bonds with peers are prioritised.

My love for social environments drives me to design uniquely crafted spaces to resonate on a personal level. Through my reading hobby, I developed a keen interest in social philosophy, which taught me how the built environment can proportionately affect the users. My ideology aligns with architectural visionaries like Seksan, who advocate for inclusive design and tap into social and spiritual nuances. Therefore, my design prioritises emotional impact while balancing aesthetics, aiming to nurture and comfort users' souls.
