People in Singapore often feel disconnected and tense due to fast-paced lifestyles. Fjord Hall addresses this issue by proposing a performing arts centre integrated into everyday city life, centred around a performance hall. This creates a venue for releasing emotions through creative participation. Residents can choose to perform or be part of the audience, using movement and sound to externalise tension that audiences experience and resonate with. By transforming personal stress into shared artistic expression, Fjord Hall reveals a surprising truth: recovery from burnout is gradual, but the arts make it tangible, immersive, and deeply restorative

Can design influence how communities gather, interact, and belong? I believe it can. Narrative drives every project I take on. Beyond aesthetics, I see space as a factor that shapes how people feel, behave, and interact. I begin each project with a strong concept that guides every decision, from form to materiality.
For me, design is a form of storytelling, sometimes serious, sometimes playful, always inviting interaction and leaving a lasting impression.
