Cold Start

Inspired by the informal car culture at Yishun Dam, Cold Start recreates the sense of freedom, community, and excitement through controlled and immersive environments. The space allows visitors — including licensed drivers and youths yet to obtain their license — to discover modified cars, experience different engines through sound, VR, and driving simulators, and engage with automotive culture in a responsible and accessible way. By translating underground car meet energy into a regulated setting, the project transforms risky behaviours into meaningful, educational, and socially inclusive experiences.
