The Kampung Collective is inspired by kampung living and vernacular architecture. I explore thresholds, verandas, and layered spaces as gentle mediators between community and solitude. I am drawn to intergenerational environments where care, play, and rest coexist, allowing different generations to remain connected while maintaining dignity and independence. Through nature-integrated design and sustainable practices, my work seeks to create calm, inclusive spaces that feel familiar yet purposeful—places that hold memory, encourage togetherness, and support meaningful ways of living.

My design philosophy is guided by a sensitivity to people, place, and everyday rituals. I explore how spatial layering and human-scaled environments can foster connection while preserving comfort and privacy. Through restrained design and thoughtful transitions, my work seeks to support both shared experiences and moments of retreat. Nature is integrated as a quiet but active element, shaping atmosphere and well-being. I aim to create calm, inclusive spaces that feel intuitive, grounded, and quietly meaningful.
