Airway 450 – The First and The Next Flight transforms the conserved Block 450 at Seletar into a Living Museum and Sustainability Hub. Anchored in Sustainability & Resilience and aligned with SDG 11, the project raises awareness of aviation's carbon emissions. A curvilinear “airway” circulation path guides visitors through a structured journey from aviation’s high-emission past to its low-carbon future. Interactive galleries, vertical void connections, and immersive digital installations create reflection and engagement. A sustainability workshop and eco-café ground the present in responsible lifestyle choices. All interventions remain reversible and conservation-sensitive, respecting heritage while reimagining the building as a catalyst for future-ready change.

Design rooted in adaptive reuse and meaningful storytelling, transforming conserved buildings into spaces that feel alive again. Each project bridges past and future, allowing history to be experienced while introducing thoughtful contemporary interventions. Sustainability is woven naturally into materials, programs, and everyday use rather than treated as an afterthought. Spatial journeys encourage reflection, learning, and connection to broader social and environmental realities. By respecting heritage while embracing innovation, the work aims to create environments that are responsible, immersive, and emotionally resonant, inspiring awareness and a deeper sense of belonging.
