The Loop of Life explores how architectural space can gently support the daily movement of people experiencing early cognitive vulnerability, including mild dementia. Instead of forcing strict wayfinding, the design interprets wandering as a natural behaviour and shapes it into a continuous spatial loop. A central double-volume landmark anchors the circulation, allowing users to move freely while always returning to a familiar point. Through sensory cues, gradual spatial transitions, and everyday communal activities, the environment encourages orientation, comfort, and moments of connection within a safe and supportive setting.

I’m an Interior Architecture & Design student interested in how people move through and experience space. I enjoy exploring design ideas through observation, experimentation, and an ongoing curiosity about how environments shape everyday life.
