WaddleWay is a coordinated fire evacuation ecosystem designed for preschool and early primary settings, where young children depend on adult guidance during emergencies. Limited spatial awareness and stress responses make orderly evacuation challenging, increasing teachers’ cognitive load. WaddleWay shifts evacuation from reactive control to structured coordination. A Mama Duck harness maintains safe spacing, while ergonomically scaled Duckling grips support alignment and secure handling. Portable location nodes, managed through a companion app, provide real-time position and headcount updates along evacuation routes. By combining physical guidance with digital monitoring, WaddleWay improves safety, accountability, and preparedness in early childhood environments.

I am Danice, a design student with a strong interest in 3D modelling and rendering. I enjoy using visualisation to explore ideas and communicate design concepts clearly. My approach focuses on solving real-world problems that she feels personally connected to, especially those involving people's relationships with their environments. Through research, experimentation, and visual storytelling, I hope to develop thoughtful solutions that aim to improve everyday experiences. I believe design can bridge the gap between people, products, and the world around them.
