OnTRAK is a route-based reassurance system that supports children travelling independently while easing parental concerns. Instead of constant surveillance or alarm-driven alerts, it focuses on calm, proactive guidance. Parents set destinations in advance, allowing the system to monitor the child’s journey and confirm they are on track. If a deviation occurs, gentle haptic cues guide the child back, while contextual notifications inform caregivers. With minimal interface and thoughtful interaction design, OnTRAK reframes tracking as reassurance rather than control, helping preserve a child’s autonomy while creating a safer, more balanced travel experience for both children and families.

I am a final-year Product Experience & Design student at Temasek Polytechnic, and I enjoy resolving real-world issues through thoughtful, creative design solutions. I am particularly interested in identifying everyday tensions and reframing them into opportunities for meaningful interaction. My process is grounded in research and iteration, allowing me to explore different perspectives before refining purposeful outcomes. I strive to design for genuine needs, creating experiences that are intuitive, relevant, and emotionally considered rather than purely functional.
