In Singapore’s ageing society, seniors are increasing faster than the younger adults who support them. As families juggle work and caregiving, conversations often become routine reminders rather than meaningful exchanges, while caregivers may feel anxious when loved ones are home alone. Beyome addresses this emotional gap by supporting gentle, relationship-centred communication. A calm, circular display allows seniors to share simple updates through tactile interactions, while a companion app reassures caregivers without constant calls. By enabling quiet, asynchronous connections, Beyome reduces anxiety, preserves dignity and independence, and fosters warmth at home, aligning with NTUC Health’s vision for sustainable community caregiving.

Hi, I'm Chloe, a design student driven by curiosity about the human experience. I create products that feel intuitive, meaningful, and quietly supportive of everyday life. My work explores emotional experiences and translates them into simple, thoughtful interactions. As design continues to evolve, I am interested in learning how to harness emerging technologies with intention, treating them as tools to shape more human-centred solutions. I hope to grow alongside the changing world, creating designs that respond to people’s evolving needs while bringing moments of meaning and connection into everyday life.
