In Singapore’s hot, humid climate, migrant workers perform physically demanding tasks while wearing protective clothing that exacerbates heat stress. Many begin shifts already dehydrated, making early signs of overheating difficult to detect. Conventional water bottles disrupt workflow, requiring two-handed use and frequent pauses. Zero Friction reimagines hydration as a seamless, continuous behaviour. A flat 300 ml cartridge sits flush against the body to minimise movement, while an angular design and mechanical docking system enable quick, one-handed reloading, even with gloves. By removing physical barriers, the system encourages consistent hydration, helping reduce fatigue and heat-related risks during strenuous work.
