Ippuku is a guided mindfulness ritual kit that helps users decompress after overstimulating days. Combining tactile interaction and aromatherapy, it creates a multi-sensory wind-down experience. Each session begins with a Zen card that sets an intention, followed by shaping sand, arranging wax granules, and assembling essential oil stones into layered forms. When lit, the wax releases calming scents while visually marking the passage of time. By turning relaxation into an intentional ritual, Ippuku encourages users to step away from digital fatigue, pause mindfully, and reconnect with the present before transitioning into rest or personal time.

Hi, I’m Shawn, an aspiring artist and designer. I’m interested in how design shapes emotions and everyday experiences, especially through form, material, and rituals. I like creating work that feels intentional and thoughtful, whether through physical objects or visual storytelling.
I’m always curious and open to new approaches. I enjoy sketching, prototyping, and refining ideas through feedback. I’m still growing and figuring out my direction, but I’m passionate about developing designs that feel personal and relatable. At the end of the day, I just want to make things that connect with people in a simple and honest way.
