YIVO explores how thoughtful design can help children reflect on their daily experiences and communicate them more easily with their parents. After a long school day, many children find it difficult to explain what happened or how they felt. YIVO introduces playful, intuitive interactions that encourage children to capture small moments from their day and express their emotions simply. These moments become natural conversation starters when they return home. By transforming everyday routines into opportunities for reflection, YIVO aims to support children’s emotional awareness while strengthening communication and connection between children and their parents.
