Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents who have registered to sit for the O-Level examinations in the year of the Early Admissions Exercise (EAE)
International students enrolled in government, government-aided and Independent Schools who have registered to sit for the O-Level examinations in the year of EAE
Full-time ITE Higher NITEC students who are in their final year of study
Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents with working experience of two years or more

Relevant Recommendation Letters
Successful EAE applicants will still have to meet the following criteria:
  • For students sitting for the Singapore-Cambridge GCE O-Level examinations: obtain a net ELR2B2 score of not more than 26 points, and meet the Minimum Entry Requirements for their respective polytechnic courses
  • For final-year ITE Higher NITEC students: achieve a final net GPA of 2.0 or better
  • Fulfil medical requirements of the respective polytechnic courses

You can apply for up to three (3) diploma courses – so pick those you're passionate about

Important Dates
O-Level Students Tentatively in June 2024
ITE Students Tentatively in June 2024
Working Adults Tentatively in June 2024
EAE application can be made via the EAE Portal.
Each students can choose up to a maximum of three (3) courses.



Selection
If you're invited for interviews and/or aptitude tests, prepare yourself and give it your best shot

Important Dates
O-Level Students, ITE Students and Working Adults Tentatively from July to August 2024
Interviews and/or aptitude tests may be conducted for shortlisted applicants.



Offer and Acceptance
Meet the minimum entry requirements to enrol in your dream course

Working Adults Tentatively from September to October 2024
Offers can be viewed and accepted via the EAE Portal for successful applicants.

Accepting the EAE offer will guarantee a place in the polytechnic course, given that the stated admission criteria are met.

Note: The EAE offer cannot be accepted concurrently with a DSA-JC offer.



Withdrawal
If you change your mind, your EAE withdrawal must be submitted before the deadline

Important Dates
O-Level Students, ITE Students and Working Adults Tentatively from September to October 2024
Applicants who have accepted the EAE offer and do not withdraw by the deadline are deemed to have confirmed their acceptance and will not be eligible to participate in JAE, or JPAE, as applicable.


Tips for EAE Application


Online Application

Write about your interest and talent in the areas related to the course(s) you are applying for

Elaborate on your participation in activities (CCA), achievements and leadership qualities

Provide examples of how you have learned more about your area of interest through activities such as workshops, school projects or competitions


Interview
Bring your portfolio including the following:

Achievement awards and work examples (could be those done in or out of school)

For TP School of Design diploma courses, a portfolio that showcases creative works is required at the interview
