While we cannot reveal specific information and key metrics due to their sensitivity, the new template will include key and publicly available information required for the monitor, review and approval process. The primary objective of the project is to acquire the necessary skills for fine-tuning open- source large language models using different approaches for text classification within the company’s cloud environment, with a specific focus on detection of adverse drug events. Secondly, address some of the limitations of using large language models (LLMs) for text classification by adjusting the architecture, which is an area that has not yet been covered in past research papers within the industry. Additionally, assess the performance of the open-source large language models and fine- tuning approaches in comparison to each other, as well as against the current implemented models. This evaluation will allow us to draw a concrete conclusion regarding the capabilities of these large language models and the performance of each approach. Furthermore, the insights gained from this project will be instrumental in determining the suitability of these models before utilizing them in other text classification projects. This assessment would also serve as a valuable reference for my colleagues within the organization, allowing them to fine-tune large language models for text classification use cases more swiftly in the future.

For this project, the focus will be on the Implant Subsidy List (ISL), formerly known as the Medical Technology Subsidy list (MTSL). To determine or revise the subsidies of these implants in the list so that it is better suited for individual’s financial situation, certain criterions must be met. Hence, the Implant Subsidy Reporting is done by MOH. Therefore, to facilitate this revision of the list, existing data fields that are needed for this revision will be extracted while new data fields will be created and mapped to the current data warehouse schema before uploading to Oracle Analytics Servers for end- users to conduct their reporting. To ensure the completeness of the development of the database and the uploading to Oracle Analysis by the technical team where all new data fields are developed correctly, existing and new data fields can be retrieved successfully and all end-user’s requirements are met, System Integration Testing (SIT) will be held.

A Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) is a series of non-invasive diagnostic tests that assess the functioning of the respiratory system, including the lungs and airways. These tests provide valuable information about a person's lung capacity, airflow, and gas exchange. Pulmonary Function Tests are crucial in diagnosing and monitoring respiratory conditions such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, pulmonary fibrosis, and other lung disorders. The results obtained from these tests help healthcare professionals assess the severity of respiratory diseases, formulate treatment plans, and track the progression of lung conditions over time. This project focuses on integrating 14 core transaction tables from SGH's Pulmonary Functions database into Synapxe's advanced data warehouse, known as Ehints. This integration serves as a pivotal component of the Pulmonary Functions Registry, and it is specifically labelled as phase 1 of our comprehensive initiative. In subsequent project phases, additional tables from the existing database will be carefully selected for integration based on user priorities, ensuring a tailored and user-centric approach. The successful completion of Phase 1 relies on harnessing the robust capabilities of eHIntS, coupled with the expertise of the Synapxe team. This collaborative effort aims to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of managing pulmonary function data, providing a solid foundation for future advancements.

However, each Team/SharePoint Site is limited to 10GB storage, and each institution has an entitled storage limit (derived from the number of M365 license in the institutions). By showcasing the storage usage information, it will offer insights for senior management to make informed decisions regarding the storage infrastructure. Description
When a hospital’s pharmacy gets quite busy during operating hours, there may be times where a pharmacy may run out of a certain type of medicine, or not have in stock a more uncommon type of medicine that a patient needs. During those times, the patient might have to wait long periods until the medicine is available again or worse, will have to come back on another day to pick up the medication. I have personally experienced the latter multiple times, which was very inconvenient due to the travel times in addition to me being unavailable for most days. This project aims to fix the problems stated above by predicting the medications required for the following days, depending on the patient appointments scheduled. This way, the pharmacies will be able to pre-stock up on medicines that are likely to be prescribed more to patients. This in turn, can potentially reduce the waiting times for patients receiving their medications, as well as help streamline the process, making it easier on pharmacies, especially during peak hours.

The Manpower Management Division within MOM plays a crucial role in upholding foreign workforce policies under several Acts, some of which include the Employment of Foreign Manpower Act (EFMA) and the Employment Agencies Act (EAA). Their Investigation Department addresses cases of non-compliance such as illegal employment and deployment, false salary declaration, kickbacks and illegal labor importation, by gathering statements of parties involved and obtaining the necessary evidence. Solving non-compliance cases often demand considerable resources – these includes time, manpower, data gathering and specialized tools. Especially in the face of egregious and complex cases that involves multiple offences across agencies, resolution requires significant time investment as well as collaborative effort involving a team of experts. Thus, without precise management and allocation of resources, cases can be unsolved and filed away. The objectives of the project is to optimize resources by prioritizing higher-impact cases and reducing the time spent investigating less egregious cases.

Data dashboarding is an integral part of the project I'm working on with my organization, and both Tableau for analysis and Denodo for data collection are used in the project. The project centres around a sponsored dataset from the Manpower Management Department, which aims to protect the basic rights of migrant domestic workers (MDWs). The purpose of this project is to bring data analysis to the user. By implementing effective education, engagement, and enforcement, the department envisions establishing a well-managed migrant workforce, where I will aid the user in the problem statement, to analyse any problems or contraventions that may result from the data analysis done on data collection on a few interviews, that will require further intervention based on the concerns and trends that emerged.

This Major Project (MP) consists of 3 projects revolving around a central theme of data collection. Below is a brief introduction for each of these projects. Project 1: Coded a Swimlane in SAS Studio that Iteratively Collects Hourly Data in Real Time and Places Them in a Consolidated Table using SAS Programming Language that iterates hourly to collect any new data from a folder containing JSON files, that are being added to the folder in real time, and places them in a consolidated table. Project 2: Crawled SAS Code from SAS Blogs to Train ChatGPT to perform the data collection portion and the ultimate goal is to make ChatGPT proficient in SAS code, thus enabling it to answer questions regarding SAS code accurately. Project 3: Crawled for Data from Various Online Sources (the text data crawled from Reddit, Instagram, and Online Forums) for the purpose of conducting sentiment analysis. In this analysis, specific keywords are to be identified among the datasets and their respective network diagrams are to be plotted.

Even with the existing functionality, we've found some serious drawbacks, like restrictions in the Excel interface for data entry, latency issues resulting from database connections, and data privacy issues with SharePoint hosting. Data management and storage optimization is our main goal and is a further development of the work we did during our internship. We are moving from using Power BI, Excel, and Power Automate to using AWS services such as S3 Bucket, Redshift, and Quicksight to improve processing, storage, and visualization. This migration to AWS is necessary to ensure a more stable and scalable solution and increase the overall efficiency of the project.

Smart Serious Game Analytics Engine is utilized to better comprehend and enhance a learner's skills and performance. It integrates non-entertainment elements into an interactive gaming environment and offers various advantages to support teaching and learning. As the learner progresses in the game, the engine suggests capturing relevant data to assess the learner's progress toward specific learning objectives. To achieve this, it records the learner's in-game actions and decisions during gameplay and conducts an analysis of their behaviour. This engine leverages AI and machine learning technologies to identify a learner's learning patterns and provide personalized learning recommendations, such as suggesting which topics the learner should focus on. As of now the game analytics engine (wannabee coder) developed by TP runs on local servers which has various issues. Local servers, while once the traditional choice for data hosting and computation, have become increasingly less favourable in the evolving landscape of technology and business. One of the primary drawbacks of local servers is their limited scalability. It can be a struggle to adapt to changing workloads and face substantial upfront costs when attempting to expand or upgrade the hardware. Maintenance is another significant issue, as it needs dedicated staff for tasks such as software updates, hardware repairs, and security management. The reliability of local servers is inherently linked to the quality of hardware and backup systems, making them vulnerable to unexpected downtime and data loss. Furthermore, security is a considerable concern, as safeguarding local servers from physical threats and cyberattacks can be complex and costly, requiring ongoing investments in protective measures. Cloud computing offers numerous advantages over on-premise servers. One of the most significant benefits is scalability. Cloud services allow organizations to easily adjust their computing resources, making it ideal for businesses with fluctuating workloads. Moreover, cloud providers invest heavily in state-of-the-art security measures, which can be challenging and costly to replicate on-premise. It offers robust redundancy and disaster recovery options, ensuring high availability and data integrity. The cloud also removes the burden of maintaining physical hardware and updating software, freeing up IT resources to focus on strategic initiatives. The pay-as-you-go cost model is particularly appealing for our use case as it is still a small case use.In the modern digital landscape, the cloud's flexibility, security, and cost-efficiency make it a compelling choice. Thus, shifting the existing local servers to Cloud is the next step to upscaling and getting this project industry ready.
