Our Student Achievements

TP Accountancy & Finance (A&F) students took the top polytechnic spot in the NTU Audit & Accounting Challenge 2021, competing against 48 university and 33 polytechnic teams in this virtual competition.

Competing against 35 university and 43 polytechnic teams, A&F students emerged champions among the polys in the SMU Tax Case Challenge 2021. Not only did Team Temasek submit an analysis of the case study, they also had the opportunity to discuss tax implications of the recent agreement by the G20 countries on the adoption of a global minimum tax.

A&F students took home the 1st Runner-Up position in the SMU Accounting Challenge 2021. 28 teams participated in the virtual competition, where finalists proceeded to an audit case study which required them to justify the key audit risks and propose suitable audit procedures to a company that installs and operates charging points for electric vehicles. The team won praises from the judges from SMU as well as the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountant (ISCA) for their presentation and analysis of the case.
