This course covers safety practices on aircraft, hangar and workshop facilities, basic tools usage, and interpretation of engineering drawings as well as aviation hardware technology.
Objectives
Students will be introduced to the fundamental maintenance procedures like disassembly, inspection, repair and assembly techniques as well as processes like riveting, pipes and hoses fabrication and assembly, control cables installation.
Applicants applying for modular units which are drawn from existing full diploma or post-diploma programmes will have the same minimum entry requirements as the full qualifications.

Certification
Upon successful completion of the modular course, students will be issued a Statement of Result which can count towards the attainment of the Diploma in Engineering (Aerospace).
