Course Overview

The advertising landscape has evolved beyond mere creative and stylistic execution, thus it is necessary to encompass strategic appropriation of multi-channels, content creation, user interface and experience. This course will expose participants to a wider range of knowledge areas to formulate and execute an effective campaign for an ever-changing economy. It also includes analytical and rational implementation of strategies to engage consumers with different media applications. Techniques on applying conceptual thinking, methodologies, and processes in the creation of an effective integrated advertising campaign will be the mainstay of the course.

 

 

Objectives

 

The subject aims to equip the students with the skills and knowledge to:

  • Examine technology trends that shape a successful digital ecosystem.
  • Develop an integrated multi-device solution using front-end technologies.
  • Enhance usability of multi-device experience through appropriate digital interaction.
  • Design an interactive application to be functional and appealing at any screen size.

Entry Requirements

Applicants applying for modular units which are drawn from existing full diploma or post-diploma programmes will have the same minimum entry requirements as the full qualifications.

What You'll Learn

This subject covers the front-end development and digital technologies to develop an interactive multi-device ecosystem. The subject provides the framework for understanding the characteristics of interactive multi-device solutions, methods of dynamic content processing and integration of interactive elements through authoring techniques to enhance usability in multi-device solutions.

Certification

 

Upon successful completion of the modular unit, students will be awarded a Statement of Result which can count towards the attainment of the Specialist Diploma in Integrated Digital Communication.
