Course Overview

The aim of this course is to equip students with the basic knowledge in the study of electronic fundamental theory. Students are also equipped with the basic analytical skills to identify and solve typical synchro issues encountered in servomechanisms.

 

Objectives

This course provides the students with the broad-based knowledge in the electronics theory and fundamentals of semiconductors, logic circuits, fibre optics, electronic displays, electronic sensitive devices, and electromagnetic environment and aircraft digital data buses.

Entry Requirements

Applicants applying for modular units which are drawn from existing full diploma or post-diploma programmes will have the same minimum entry requirements as the full qualifications.

Certification

 

Upon successful completion of the modular unit, students will be awarded a Statement of Result which can count towards the attainment of the Diploma in Engineering (Aerospace).
