This course covers basic technical knowledge of aircraft gas turbine engines. Topics include operating principles of gas turbine engines and its’ essential systems (such as fuel system and lubrication system), types of gas turbine engines and effects of atmospheric variations (temperature, density, pressure altitude) on gas turbine engine.

Upon successful completion of the modular unit, students will be awarded a Statement of Result which can count towards the attainment of the Diploma in Engineering (Aerospace).
