Course Overview

This subject covers the concepts and techniques needed to adopt a structural approach to deliver software automation models across the complete life cycle. Topics covered include provisioning, configuration management, application deployment and security compliance. The subject also covers scripting language that is essential for workflow automation.

 

 

Objectives

 

Through this module, you will learn to:

  • Install a suitable IT automation platform in a given IT application environment;
  • Apply IT automation platforms to deploy applications and systems.

Entry Requirements

Those applying for modular units which are drawn from existing full diploma or post-diploma programmes will have the same minimum entry requirements as the full qualification.

Modes of Assessment

 

You will be assessed by coursework. There are no examinations for this subject.

 

 

Certification

 

Upon successful completion of the modular unit, students will be awarded a Statement of Result which can count towards the attainment of the Specialist Diploma in Digital Service Automation.
