Course Overview

This subject will help students develop effective oral professional communication skills that are essential in their working lives. They will learn how to plan, prepare and deliver oral presentations that are professional and audience-centered. In addition, students will learn the skills of conducting themselves professionally in a meeting.

 

 

Objectives

 

The subject aims to equip students with the skills and knowledge to:

  • Prepare, plan and deliver effective oral presentations
  • Prepare and write appropriate meeting documents such as agenda, notice of meeting and minutes of meeting for a simulated business setting.
  • Conduct meetings effectively in the work place

Entry Requirements

Applicants applying for modular units which are drawn from existing full diploma or post-diploma programmes will have the same minimum entry requirements as the full qualifications.
