The subject provides an overview of the various aspects of transport operations and freight management and its importance in the global trade and supply chain management. The subject covers the important freight concepts including the Incoterms, Harmonised System (HS) Codes, customs duties and GST. Various shipping document requirements, preparation of shipment costing and declaration of trade permits will also be emphasised.

Upon successful completion of the modular unit, students will be awarded a Statement of Result which can count towards the attainment of the Diploma in Business Practice (Logistics Management)

Friday: 8:30am - 5:30pm
Closed during lunchtime, 12:00pm - 1:00pm
