Course Overview

Singapore has the 2nd highest proportion of diabetics among all the developed countries. The World Health Organisation (WHO) also reported that the increased rates of diabetes are due to “the way people eat, move and live”.


Uncontrolled diabetes will lead to serious complications such as kidney failure, heart disease and stroke. Do you know that diabetes can be prevented and managed through simple dietary and lifestyle modifications?


Learn to manage diabetes through this course that will equip you with practical knowledge in basic nutrition, carbohydrate counting and menu planning. You will get to enjoy a hands-on cooking session on diabetic-friendly dishes and carbohydrate counting.

Individuals who are interested to find out more about basic nutrition for diabetes. Nutritionists, General Practitioners, Nurses and other healthcare professionals providing care to patients with diabetes.
