The Diploma in Psychology Studies held its 3rd Psychology Studies Student Conference on 23rd March 2016. Invited participants included industry guests, university partners, alumni and full-time psychology students. The conference provided our students with an opportunity to present their projects in the setting of an academic conference. It also served as a networking session for future collaborations with industry guests and university partners. The keynote speaker for this year’s conference was Mr Peter Tan, Director and Senior Principal Organisational Psychologist at the Community Psychology Hub (CPH). At the conference, students also gained insights into real-world applications of psychology, through industry seminars delivered by the Defence Psychology Department (Ministry of Defence), KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital and St. Andrew’s Autism Centre.
