Solomon has always been passionate about game design and is determined to acquire the skills to create his own games. While a student at Pasir Ris Crest Secondary School, he applied for the Direct Polytechnic Admissions (DPA) scheme at Temasek Polytechnic because he wanted to get a head start in learning how to design and create games. Solomon reasoned that whether he entered TP through DPA or the GCE ‘O’ Level route, he would still pursue the Game Design & Development course and eventually go to university to learn how to create games.
Among his many accolades, Solomon won the Bronze Medal in the WorldSkills Singapore Competition in 2016 for the Web Design Category. Passionate about animation and special effects, Solomon is determined to make an impact through his games and hope to hone his skills to a higher level over time. He has excelled in the course right through his three years. He graduated in May 2018, as the top student of his cohort. Solomon has been awarded the Lee Kuan Yew Award, the IMDA Excellence Award and the TP-Microsoft Skills Mastery Award.
