Excelling in the Fintech Hackathon

Students from the School of Informatics & IT (IIT) clinched three awards at the PolyFinTech 100 API Hackathon held at Ngee Ann Polytechnic on 28 July 2018. The event attracted close to 130 participants comprising students from the five polytechnics. 

PolyFinTech 100 is a joint initiative with the Monetary Authority of Singapore to equip polytechnic students from the banking and IT-related courses at the five polytechnics with internships and joint projects in the FinTech community.

Twenty teams presented their FinTech proof-of-concept solutions to a distinguished panel of judges from the Monetary Authority of Singapore, Singapore FinTech Association, DBS Bank, NETS and the National University of Singapore.
