This programme is part of the SGUnited Skills (SGUS) programme (Please click here for more information) which is designed to help unemployed Singaporeans/PRs to upskill themselves with industry relevant skills and knowledge. Minimum Entry Requirement
Applicants will need to have a pass in English at Secondary 2 or have attained WPLN Level 3. Shortlisted applicants may have to go through an interview and/or entrance test. Temasek Polytechnic reserves the right to shortlist and admit applicants. Applicants who have already completed any module(s) will be considered on a case by case basis.

Application for Security Officer License Prior to Course Registration
Applicants who intend to join the programme are advised to apply for a security officer licence with the Singapore Police Force before applying for the course with SII. Please apply for the licence at the Singapore Police Force website: Singapore Police Force SO License Application / Guide.
Training Allowance and Benefits
Successful applicants will receive a monthly training allowance of up to $1,200 throughout the course of training. They will also receive career advisory and employment assistance through industry projects or attachment. (Applicants are required to attain minimum 75% attendance for all courses as well as pass all assessments).

Formal classroom training will be conducted 5 days per week and for 4 hours per day.
