INTERESTING FACT!

According to Dr N Varaprasad, TP’s founding principal, the school designed a graduation gown for its first batch of graduates in 1991.

However, the idea was vetoed by Dr Tay Eng Soon, MOE's late Senior Minister of State, who preferred that the graduates dress smartly in work clothes to show they were industry-ready, instead of trying to “imitate a university”.
