Temasek Polytechnic Celebrates the Graduating Class of 2024

Temasek Polytechnic (TP) saw the first cohorts from the full-time Diploma in Applied Artificial Intelligence and Diploma in Architectural Technology & Building Services graduating in 2024. They are part of the 5315 students across 36 full-time diploma courses and 48 part-time courses that are set to graduate from TP this year.

 

The first cohorts from the following part-time courses also graduated this year:

  • Diploma in Business Practice (Human Resource Management & Psychology)
  • Diploma in Policing & Security Management
  • Diploma in Design (Digital Commerce & Experience)
  • Diploma in Engineering (Computer Engineering)
  • Specialist Diploma in Industrial Informatics

 

This year, 12 graduates from across TP’s six schools were honoured with the Skills Mastery Award for demonstrating exceptional mastery of course-specific skills through their achievements in various areas such as competitions (e.g. WorldSkills International), research, projects, and/or presentations at conferences or symposiums. This accolade furthers the national SkillsFuture initiative by promoting and recognising the importance of skilled professionals in Singapore's future. The Skills Mastery Award winners received their awards at their respective School sessions.

 

The graduation ceremonies were held across 17 sessions from 2 May to 9 May 2024. It marks a significant milestone for these graduates as they embark on their next chapter. For more information on TP’s graduation sessions, please refer to https://www.tp.edu.sg/graduation/index.html.

 

Guest-of-Honor, Minister for Health, Mr Ong Ye Kung, addressed the graduates from the School of Applied Science’s Diploma in Medical Biotechnology and Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science at the opening session. He also presented polytechnic-level awards, including the Lee Kuan Yew Award, the Tay Eng Soon Gold Medal, the Lee Kong Chian Award, the CapitaLand Award for All-Round Excellence, and the Ngee Ann Kongsi Most Outstanding Overcomer Award, to 11 exceptional students.
