Project Background & Description
In Singapore’s growing HDB estates and condominiums, noise disturbances are a common issue that often leads to unnecessary tension between neighbours. With more residents spending time at home due to the popularity of remote work, managing noise levels has become a significant concern for maintaining harmonious living. To address these challenges, the Singapore government has introduced various noise control guidelines, but awareness and adherence remains widely inconsistent among residents.
Hush Hour is a simulation-strategy game designed to address this gap by educating players about the impact of noise-making activities and encouraging them to employ more empathy and consideration to their neighbours.
This project was shortlisted for further development by the Municipal Services Office, a coordinating office under the Ministry of National Development
