Project Background & Description

In Singapore’s growing HDB estates and condominiums, noise disturbances are a common issue that often leads to unnecessary tension between neighbours. With more residents spending time at home due to the popularity of remote work, managing noise levels has become a significant concern for maintaining harmonious living. To address these challenges, the Singapore government has introduced various noise control guidelines, but awareness and adherence remains widely inconsistent among residents.​

Hush Hour is a simulation-strategy game designed to address this gap by educating players about the impact of noise-making activities and encouraging them to employ more empathy and consideration to their neighbours.​

This project was shortlisted for further development by the Municipal Services Office, a coordinating office under the Ministry of National Development​
