Oh, what a night! Our TP35 Dinner & Dance was an explosion of colour, creativity, and celebration. With the theme "35" in mind, our #TPFam arrived in wildly inventive interpretations that lit up the ballroom.
Throughout the evening, staff reconnected over great food, drinks, and vibrant conversations that filled the room with warmth and laughter. The entertainment was equally spectacular—from professional showcases to amazing performances by our very own TP colleagues, the stage came alive with music, dance, and talent that truly wowed the crowd. Energy peaked during the lucky draw, where every announcement sparked squeals, cheers, and edge-of-your-seat excitement.
As the evening’s festivities came to a close, everyone left glowing, smiling, and in high spirits—the best kind of TP35 vibes!
Our special 35-hour CCN Day wrapped up with heart, energy, and an incredible spirit of giving! As the second CCN Day of the year, this TP35 edition brought together students, staff, and invited partners in a vibrant week-long celebration with one shared purpose: to uplift TP students who need extra support.
From food and fashion to games, crafts, and lifestyle finds, crowds streamed through over 100 stalls filled with delicious treats, unique discoveries, and cheerful moments of connection.
Beyond the fun, CCN Day reminded us of something deeper: the power of compassion. By leading, collaborating, and giving back, our students demonstrated the kind of empathy, teamwork, and community-mindedness that will shape them into tomorrow's values-centred leaders.
Learning Fest 2025 brought the TP Family together to celebrate the power of human connection in education.
Dr Colin Beard, Professor Emeritus (Experiential Learning) at Sheffield Hallam University, UK, delivered a thought-provoking keynote titled “Education in the Age of AI: The Urgency of Human Connection.” His insights underscored the need for educators to balance technological advancement with empathy, authenticity, and meaningful classroom engagement. Participants continued the conversation through engaging seminars with Dr Beard and Ms Elsie Ng from LinkedIn Singapore, gaining valuable perspectives on evolving learner needs and the future of work.
The event also marked the 7th CTEL Graduation, celebrating educators who have demonstrated commitment to lifelong learning and professional growth. TP also recognised the recipients of the Teaching Excellence Award (TEA) and Educational Innovation Award (EIA), whose dedication and innovative approaches continue to raise the standard of teaching at TP.
TP came together in full force for this year's National Day Concert!
Our SG60 celebrations took the form of an energetic, gameshow-style segment, "Confirm Can One!"—a lively blend of Singapore trivia and memorable performances by our talented students. Adding to the festive spirit, our TP Staff Band took the stage with familiar local favourites, creating a concert experience that felt wonderfully nostalgic and uniquely Singaporean.
We were also honoured to celebrate with our special guests from St Bernadette Lifestyle Village and APSN, whose enthusiasm, singing, and participation added warmth and joy to the occasion.
From kampung spirit to moments of shared pride, the concert reminded us of what makes the TP community and Singapore so remarkable: unity, heart, and the simple joy of coming together as one.
The TP35 X-Challenge Run 2025 saw fitness enthusiasts, amateur joggers and fun run fans lace up for an evening of energy, camaraderie and celebration!
Participants marked the occasion with our specially designed Finisher Tee and shoe bag, commemorating our milestone TP35 year. Supporters and families enjoyed a lively festival atmosphere, complete with complimentary treats, carnival games, and vibrant performances by the Temasek Arts Centre and special guests.
A key highlight of the evening was the heartfelt sing-along of our National Anthem and TP Song, uniting everyone in celebration of SG60 and TP35. From cheering each other on to sharing in the joy of the moment, the event reflected the strong sense of community that defines the TP Family.
Thank you to all runners, supporters, and volunteers for making this year's X-Challenge Run such a meaningful and memorable event.
The first CCN Day of 2025 honoured TP’s 35-year tradition of championing compassion, inspiring growth and creating opportunities to give back.
This year’s event took on greater significance as we expanded our mission beyond supporting TP students, collaborating with social enterprises such as APSN and Singapore Fashion Runway, which featured handcrafted items that supported their impactful work. Their involvement added a powerful community dimension, and the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre’s (NVPC) SG Giving booth encouraged students to explore the value of generosity and social responsibility.
Thank you to every staff member, student, and visitor who participated, contributed, and supported this purposeful celebration. By giving inwards and outwards, you helped strengthen the culture of care that defines TP at 35 years and beyond!
TP Staff Comm 2025 set the stage for a year of innovation, growth, and renewed purpose at Temasek Polytechnic. Principal & CEO Mr Peter Lam delivered an inspiring address centred on sustainability, innovation, lifelong learning, and the remarkable contributions of TP staff who have shaped our institution over the last 35 years.
We also revisited key milestones in TP’s journey, reflected on our progress, and explored upcoming initiatives that embody the #TPCares spirit of compassion, collaboration, and community.
During the Q&A segment, Deputy Principals Aw Tuan Kee and Anita Kuan, alongside HR Director Esther Chia, addressed crucial topics such as AI integration and transformation, workplace support, staff wellbeing, and holistic professional growth. Their insights provided clarity and confidence as we prepared for what lies ahead.
To our incredible #TPFam—thank you for your unwavering dedication and for continuing to shape the future of TP with purpose and heart.
TP Cares Week 2025 brought together staff and students in three meaningful initiatives aimed at uplifting communities and strengthening our commitment to service.
In partnership with the North East Community Development Council, Project Refresh 2025 mobilised 80 volunteers to clean, paint, and refresh the homes of low-income seniors and families. Their collective effort transformed living spaces, bringing comfort, dignity, and warmth to beneficiaries.
The week also featured a beach cleanup at East Coast Park, where volunteers worked collaboratively to remove coastal litter and contribute to a cleaner, safer environment, reinforcing TP’s commitment to sustainability and community responsibility.
In addition, TP supported Food From the Heart’s Food Donation Drive by contributing essential items and care packs to nourish and help families in need.
To all volunteers and contributors, thank you for your generosity and dedication!

The Temasek Arts Centre kicked off our TP35 celebrations with DREAMS, the largest and most ambitious TP production since 2007. It united generations of creative talent in a spectacular tribute to our past, present, and future.
DREAMS featured stellar performances by students and alumni, each celebrating TP’s legacy and our vibrant spirit. A memorable highlight was the unveiling of the time capsule, sealed in 2001 by TP’s first Principal, Dr Natarajan Varaprasad, a symbolic reminder and marker of our progress.
The celebration continued with a ticketed public show, with all proceeds donated to the Campus Care Network (CCN) to support students’ personal growth and strengthen TP’s culture of care.
