Project Background & Description


This project focuses on the elimination of manual tasks as part of the efforts by Crowne Plaza Hotel to enhance operations. On a daily basis, 3-5 hours of time is spent on manual tasks such as keying in guest information into different hotel systems. We built a software to ease the human and manual aspects of the task.

The software cross-validates the system with Excel to input the correct values and validates the price check. A report is automatically generated to show the before and after changes and an email notification is sent to the supervisor to check for updates. The solution then utilizes UiPath software to build customised RPA bots to automate the repetitive task, to save time and eliminate human mistakes. The solution was deployed for use for the hotel. This is the first project in Robotic Process Automation to be implemented in the hotel. It was first deployed in October 2023.
