Project Background & Description


OCBC Business Banking service managers offer post-sales support to corporate customers, handling inquiries related to transactions, time deposits, and account details through various system. Their efficiency is assessed based on call volume, making timely access crucial. Failure to obtain system access significantly hampers both departmental operations and individual productivity. Acquiring these accesses can be cumbersome, involving intermediaries to facilitate communication and form completion which is inefficient and prone to human mistakes.

The automated onboarding process leverages Power Automate to address the tedious process of requesting and managing over 30 system accesses for users. It streamlines user requests, automating the request processes, approval workflows, and real-time status updates. Additionally, it sends scheduled onboarding emails to new users on their joining day. This automation streamlines request management, minimizes turnover time, and reduces manual intervention. Overall, this solution significantly improves process efficiency and accuracy, enabling employees to focus on critical tasks and costs saving for the organization.
