Project Background & Description

GRACE (Guided Resources, Assistance and Communication for Empowered Care) app is an interactive mobile application that supports caregivers in the provision of medications to patients and loved ones. The app’s core functionalities encompass storing of medication information, scanning medication labels to text, translating medication information and FAQs about medications. 

The GRACE app makes use of Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to read medication parameters, and allows caregivers and patients to view their medication schedule. It also has features to translate medical questions that caregivers of other nationalities have.
