About Career Kickstarter Programme

The Career Kickstarter Programme 2025 is a comprehensive initiative designed by TP, to provide our fresh graduates with a strong headstart into the working world. It includes free upskilling courses, curated job opportunities and practical career guidance and resources.

All fresh graduates from TP are welcome to apply. Alumni who graduated from 2023 onwards can also tap on some of these opportunities.

The Career Kickstarter Programme is thoughtfully designed to give you a strong, confident start as you transition from student to a working professional. The curated job and internship opportunities are aligned with TP’s course of study, ensuring relevance and applicability to your skill sets.

We provided a curated selection of internship opportunities and career development resources provided by various government agencies. These include programmes designed to help you explore industries, gain work experience, and build future-ready skills.

Job Opportunities

Yes, the roles are full-time and span up to 12 months. They are designed to provide hands-on experience and prepare you for long-term career success.

We encourage graduates to commit to the full duration of the placement, as these roles are designed to provide hands-on experience that builds real-world skills. However, if other opportunities arise during the course of your 12-month position, you can discuss your plans with your supervisor.

Graduates in TP Kickstarter roles will be entitled to staff benefits applicable to contract staff, including Annual Leave, Medical Leave and other entitlements. Specific details will be provided upon onboarding.

A structured job-matching process ensures that each role aligns with your strengths, interests, and career goals. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interviews.

Upskilling Courses

Yes. Eligible graduates enjoy complimentary access to selected Skills-Based Modular Courses (SBMCs), Micro-Learning Courses, and Short Courses.

No, the complimentary access is limited to a curated list of eligible courses under each category.

Yes, you can enrol in multiple courses concurrently. However, please check to ensure that there are no conflicting schedules among the courses you are pursuing.

Fresh graduates have up till April 2028 to redeem the Skills-Based Modular Courses (SBMC). For all other course types, please enrol within one year of graduation to enjoy complimentary access.

MLCs are mobile-friendly and fully online. SBMCs and Short Courses may be a mix of online, blended, or face-to-face, depending on the course.

Once you've enrolled in a course, the complimentary credits will be considered utilised. We encourage you to review the course details carefully and select one that best aligns with your interests and career goals before applying.

Career Guidance and Other Resources

A range of Education and Career Guidance services is provided, even up to 3 years after graduation! You can book 1-on-1 sessions with a career coach and use profiling tools to discover your strengths. Make an appointment to speak to an Education and Career Coach here.

Yes. Many listed internships and programmes are open to recent graduates, especially those looking to build experience or explore different career paths.

There are still many ways to stay proactive. You can tap on other developmental opportunities offered, such as internship and work-study programmes by government agencies. These initiatives are designed to build your skills, expand your network, and boost your employability while you continue your job search. Keep learning, to prepare yourself for the right opportunity!
