Premium aerospace technical training @ TP

ltt-premium-1 LTT’s CEO Rubin Siddique (in red tie) with Aerospace students in the TP-LTT Aerospace Training Centre on campus

Temasek Polytechnic (TP) and Lufthansa Technical Training (LTT), the technical training arm of Germany’s Lufthansa Airways, have signed an extension of their partnership agreement in providing aircraft technical training, first established in 2007, for another 5 years.

Over the past ten years, the synergistic collaboration between both organisations – the only such aerospace training alliance in Singapore – has grown from strength to strength.  LTT’s world renowned technical training concepts and quality standards were incorporated as part of TP’s aerospace diploma course structure, and close to 3,000 students from TP’s Diploma in Aerospace Engineering and Diploma in Aerospace Electronics have so far benefitted from this partnership as they have had the opportunity to undergo well-structured, practical-oriented aerospace training, as well as to make use of the well-equipped TP-LTT Aerospace Training Centre specially set up on campus.

Under the new 5-year agreement, LTT and TP will continue to jointly develop and offer industry-relevant aircraft technical training courses for both full-time diploma students as well as working adults under the Singapore Air Worthiness Requirements (SAR)-66 curriculum framework.

The MOU renewal was signed by Mr Rubin Siddique, CEO of Lufthansa Technical Training, and Mr Peter Lam, Principal & CEO of Temasek Polytechnic, in Nov 2017.
