Application Process and Outcome

Successful JAE Appeal will supersede the JAE original posted course. The outcome of the JAE Appeal will be released through JAE Appeal portal.

Posting Procedure

  • Applicants are posted to a course based on merit first according to their net ELR2B2 aggregate scores (taking into account the CCA bonus points for which the applicants are eligible for).
  • Applicant with better net aggregate will be considered for admission first, subject to the availability of vacancies in the selected course. If there is no more vacancy, then the applicant will be considered for his/her next choice course.
  • Applicant with the same net aggregate score vying for the last place in a course will be posted based on citizenship followed by their gross aggregate score. The posting of candidates with same gross aggregate score will be determined by a computerised ballot where each candidate is given an equal opportunity.
  • Details on O Level aggregate computation are available here.

What are my chances of getting into the course of my choice?

What are my chances of getting into the course of my choice?

For your top few choices for JAE, you may wish to select those TP courses that you are passionate about and for which your net ELR2B2 aggregate score is less than or equal to the previous year’s highest aggregate score of the course or not too far above the highest score.

To maximise the likelihood of being posted to a course of your JAE choices, you should ensure that, for some of your selected courses, your net ELR2B2 aggregate score falls below the previous year’s highest aggregate scores of those courses.
