#Depending on your SEC results, you may also be eligible to apply for ITE Higher Nitec courses.

Minimum Entry Requirements

Achieve a gross ELMAB3 aggregrate score (before deducting CCA bonus points),
computed using G2 scores, of 12 points or below.
Full Subject-Based Banding for G2 Minimum Entry Requirements (MERs)
Each PFP cluster has subject-specific requirements, including minimum grades for English Language and other subjects.

Your Two Application Pathways

1. Early Admission Exercise (EAE)*

Full Subject-Based Banding for G3 Early Admission Exercise (EAE) Pathway
*Placement in the EAE-posted course will be confirmed upon meeting the diploma's Minimum Entry Requirements (MERs)

2. Post-Secondary Admissions Exercise (PSE)*

Full Subject-Based Banding for G3 Post-Secondary Admissions Exercise (PSE) Pathway
*Depending on your SEC results, you may also eligible to apply to the PFP, Junior Colleges, Millennia Institute and ITE HIgher Nitec courses.

Minimum Entry Requirements (MERs)

Achieve a net ELR2B2 aggregrate score (after deducting CCA bonus points) of 22 points or below.
ELR2 subjects and the 1st Best Subject are computing using G3 scores, while the 2nd Best Subject is computed using G2 scores.

Additonal Note:

Currently, all Polytechnic Diploma courses require Mathematics/Additional Mathematics to be taken at O-Level, as part of aggregate computation and/or Minimum Entry Requirements (MERs).

From AY2028, the MERs for the following six courses under the ELR2B2-A aggregate type will be revised such that Mathematics/Additional Mathematics can be taken at G2 level or equivalent.

Diploma in Chinese Studies (at Ngee Ann Polytechnic)
Diploma in Chinese Media & Communication (at Ngee Ann Polytechnic)
Diploma in Tamil Studies with Early Education (at Ngee Ann Polytechnic)
Diploma in Outdoor Education (at Republic Polytechnic)

All other Polytechnic Diploma courses continue to require Mathematics/Additional Mathematics to be taken at G3 level, as part of aggregate computation and/or Minimum Entry Requirements (MERs).
