Mr Tanmay Bishnoi, Director, KPMG Singapore
Tanmay is a Director at KPMG Singapore with deep expertise in sustainability and climate strategy. He is a Chartered Engineer, Chartered ESG Investment Manager and a Chevening Fellow in Leadership and Excellence. His work focuses on decarbonization and net zero pathways, GHG emissions profiling, climate target setting, clean energy transition—including renewable energy and green hydrogen—corporate renewable energy procurement, and supply chain decarbonization. He has extensive experience in sustainability reporting, having supported numerous organizations in aligning with global frameworks such as the GRI, TCFD, and ISSB standards. Tanmay also advises clients on integrating ESG metrics into corporate disclosures and developing robust sustainability strategies. He has coauthored 11 practitioners guides in Renewable Energy domain, a research paper on Cobenefits of Renewable Energy, a thought leadership paper on net zero and an insights report on decarbonizing the transport sector.
Mr Wong Nee Tat, Course Chair, Temasek Polytechnic
Nee Tat is the Course Chair at Temasek Polytechnic’s School of Business. A Chartered Accountant of Singapore, he holds the FSA Credential from the IFRS Foundation, demonstrating his expertise in sustainability disclosure and ESG analysis. Prior to joining Temasek Polytechnic, he was a Director of Business Consulting and Senior Consultant, advising listed companies, multinational corporations, government organisations and trade associations. He contributes to Singapore’s national sustainability efforts through his attachment with the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA), aiding in the development of the Sustainability Reporting Body of Knowledge. He received multiple awards, including Teaching Excellence Awards, Exemplary SkillsFuture @ Public Service Award in 2023 and Outstanding CET Contributor Award in 2024.
Ms Carolyn Poon, Domain Chair, Temasek Polytechnic
Carolyn Poon is a practitioner in sustainability, strategy and business transformation. She is passionate about sustainability and the transformative value of innovation to help businesses and people become better versions of themselves.
Carolyn has worked with businesses across different geographies, to understand their pain points, propose and implement business solutions. She has held various senior management roles in sector-based sustainability, regional strategy, product management and consulting. In Sustainability, she has pioneered industry initiatives that drive towards sector/standards-based business practices, consumer education via responsible consumption, circularity initiatives, capacity building initiatives, and sustainability innovation.
Carolyn holds an MBA from Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University of Singapore. She is Domain Chair, Business Sustainability & Essentials, School of Business in Temasek Polytechnic.
Mr Darren Ko, Senior Lecturer, Temasek Polytechnic
Darren Ko is a Senior Lecturer at Temasek Polytechnic’s School of Business. He has contributed to the validation of Singapore’s Sustainability Reporting and Sustainability Assurance Bodies of Knowledge, supporting national efforts to define core technical competencies in these domains. He led Temasek Polytechnic’s Sustainability Committee in the successful completion of its inaugural Sustainability Report for FY2023, and currently oversees the implementation of the institution’s sustainability reporting platform system, supporting the integration of sustainability data across departments.
Darren is a Chartered Accountant of Singapore. He also holds certifications in Sustainability Reporting and Assurance from the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA), and in Corporate Carbon Footprint Verification (ISO 14064) from TÜV SÜD. Prior to joining Temasek Polytechnic, Darren spent over nine years with Deloitte, specializing in public accounting and assurance for listed companies, multinational corporations, and not-for-profit organizations. He now develops and teaches subjects in sustainability reporting, accounting, financial auditing and advises students on industry projects involving carbon accounting and analytics.
