2. Supported All the Way
A student is illustrated walking around campus with a smile, symbolising a vibrant campus culture and adequate support for student wellbeing. Temasek Polytechnic puts student well-being first with strong resources for support and care.

TP’s tagline, “Creating Tomorrow”, reflects our mission to equip students with the skills and real-world experience to thrive in a dynamic world.

We face change head-on with optimism to prepare students for the future. Our curricula are designed to help students evolve with the changing industry and global trends. We build on fresh opportunities that make learning at TP one powered by co-creation and discovery.

At TP, we believe supporting our students shapes the world they live in. Our “live” industry briefs, projects, and internships offer a curriculum that is industry-relevant and forward-thinking. This is strengthened by global exposure and consistently leading the way with fresh new ideas. Our students and adult learners are taught to be industry-ready professionals with the skills to make a difference and give them an edge in their future.

2.1 The Temasek Polytechnic Motto

Creating Tomorrow” is achieved by embracing values TP holds dear: Care, Courage, and Passion. Within and beyond our walls, TP Cares has played a significant role in the community, making a positive impact by providing support to those who need it.

We believe in having the courage to take the road less travelled, to be bold and resilient in the face of challenges and failure, and to have the passion to pursue all that is important to us.

Every student has the right to learn. We level students’ playing fields to provide equal opportunity education for all.

3. Interning Beyond Seas

TP students kick off internships in their final year (Year Three). The “Student Internship Programme” (SIP) enables students to apply their learnt expertise in real life. Liaison officers are assigned to each student intern to support and guide them through the process, help them secure a placement, and create a supportive working environment to thrive.

Learning goes beyond borders! TP cultivates cultural diversity through global exposure. We offer students the opportunity to embark on internships overseas through the Overseas Student Internship Programme (OSIP). Students enrolled in the programme gain an international outlook and global understanding of diverse cultures across the region. Our expertise extends beyond Singaporean shores - OSIP preps students to be future-ready both locally and globally.

At TP, global exposure goes beyond the classroom, into creating real change through sustainability and well-being.

On a trip to the Philippines, our students and staff visited Cauayan City to help with green efforts. Solar lights and water pipes were installed for rural families in the Sitio Manalpaac community.

Through overseas experiences, TP students can gain insights into global ethics, cross-cultural communication, and diverse work cultures.

The result? A broader industry outlook and a boost to future career prospects.

Facilitators with years of relevant work experience will guide you through each lesson, both in and out of the classroom, and support your learning journey.

Students can showcase their talents throughout their time in TP.
