Active ageing centre Lucky Haven was officially opened on 29 June, at Blk 70 Bedok South Road HDB's ground floor with a capacity to accommodate 40-60 seniors. Lucky Haven partnered with Temasek Polytechnic's Diploma in Social Sciences in Gerontology to engage students in the centre's activities, thereby exploring different ways of doing gerontology research in the local context in Singapore.
