What to know about Temasek Polytechnic’s Diploma in Fashion Management & Design

TP is the only polytechnic in Singapore offering a Diploma in Fashion Management and Design. The course goes beyond garment-making to cover the entire fashion life cycle, including design, branding, manufacturing, marketing and retail.
The article also recounted FMD graduate Lim Jia Zhen’s journey into the diploma after she was initially offered a place in an engineering course at TP.
In an interview with FMD lecturer Eve Tan, she explained that students are encouraged to design with both creativity and commercial viability in mind, while also exploring new technologies and thinking critically about sustainability.
