Feeling those first-day jitters? Fret not! We have got you covered with a smorgasbord of exciting activities to help you dive into this new chapter on the right note, and to make your transition into TP as smooth, confident and fun as possible.

As part of FO, you will get to experience a series of onboarding activities organised by your respective Academic Schools. These activities are specially curated to help you assimilate into polytechnic life, while getting to know our vibrant community, friendly people and unique culture.

Come immerse yourself in the electrifying vibe and mark a befitting end to your onboarding journey – packed with endless fun, and one you will remember for a lifetime.

Held on 16 April 2026, this exciting event concludes your orientation journey and marks a symbolic start to your polytechnic adventure. Buckle up for a dynamic three-part programme – including thrilling dragon boat races, action-packed team challenges, and a pulsating arts concert that will have you dancing under the stars!

Temasek Olympiad: Make a Splash & Have Fun in the Sun!

What better way to cap off your FO experience than by coming together with your new friends, while diving headfirst into the vibrant campus spirit that TP is known for?

As part of the Temasek Olympiad, get ready to paddle your heart out beneath the warm morning sun, or rally behind your friends as they battle for your school’s pride and glory in the exciting dragon boat races! The morning action will unfold against the picturesque backdrop of TP’s very own waterfront gem – Bedok Reservoir.

As the afternoon heats up, brace yourself for a series of high-energy Olympiad-style team challenges at the TP Sports Complex – designed to put your physical prowess, mental fortitude and collaboration to the test. Or, simply soak in the electrifying atmosphere as you root spiritedly for your peers!

What’s more, you will get to be part of a one-of-a-kind body percussion showcase – creating a medley of synchronised beats, rhythms and sounds – using nothing but your own body as an instrument. Plus, unite with your friends through creative cheers that epitomise your school’s camaraderie, values and spirit – all in the name of fun, friendship and friendly competition!

SpecTACular – “Jam & Hop”: Groove Under the Stars & Be Dazzled by Our Arts Talents!

As twilight descends, prepare to be regaled by the Temasek Arts Centre at the “SpecTACular” concert. From melodious vocals, pulsating beats to sizzling dance moves, feel the rhythm pulse through your veins as our student-artists unleash their talents at this captivating arts extravaganza!

This is not just any concert; it is a student-powered showcase that embodies TP’s collective values of strength, unity and hope. Here, you will get to witness firsthand the creative spirit and vibrant energy that keep our campus buzzing at every turn.

But wait, there’s more! End your FO journey on a high by dancing under the star-filled sky, as our guest artist (DJ Shai) spins the hottest tracks and sets the perfect vibe for you to let loose, groove and make new friends.
