AIC Training

AIC’s First Overseas Training
Training Course for Auditors on Good Aquaculture Practice (21 & 22 September 2022)

Aquaculture Innovation Centre (AIC) co-organised with Singapore Food Agency (SFA) under the banner of Singapore-Brunei Joint Working Group for Agri-Food Collaboration, a customised Training Course for Auditors on Good Aquaculture Practice for Brunei participants. It was an online programme conducted over 2 days primarily by Dr Meliana Riwanto, AIC Technical Consultant and Ms Victoria Chen with introductory session conducted by AIC Team.  The participants generally expressed satisfaction with the programme but preferred it to be done onsite and face-to-face. That’s food for thought for the subsequent runs.

Responsible Care & Use of Fish (RCUF) Training

AIC conducted a series of Responsible Care & Use of Fish (RCUF) training for Singapore Food Agency (SFA) and their partners. The 1.5 days’ training was done online (0.5 day) and onsite (1 day). The second full day was a hands-on session at the lab which enabled the participants to practise the essential skills in responsible fish care and use for scientific purposes.

The pictures taken during the hands-on session in the lab speak for themselves.
