Course Overview
Business Continuity Planning is a key pillar of the Security ITM is improving the capabilities of Security Agencies in delivering security outcomes, and upskilling security professionals. One such capability for Security Agencies is for sustained and continued operations when significant contingency events occur. In the Security Agencies Competencies Evaluation (SACE), security agencies are required to have Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) in place for certain contingencies, in order to ensure minimal disruption to main office operations.
This workshop is designed to provide an overview of Business Continuity Management (BCM) for security professionals (from security officers, to managers, and security directors). A foundation in BCM is then built on to equip professionals with the needed skills and knowledge for contingency planning for security operations.
Security professionals will benefit from this workshop by having both a generalist understanding of BCM, while setting the foundations for domain expertise in security operation contingency planning.
