Course Overview

The SkillsFuture Career Transition Programme (SCTP) Security Operations is a full-time training programme that equips learners with comprehensive competencies aligned to industry career progression, operational needs, and future trends.

The programme covers modules mapped to the Progressive Wage Model (PWM), enabling participants to progress to Security Supervisor level upon fulfilling work experience requirements set by the Police Regulatory Department (PRD). Learners are trained in specialised functions including crowd and traffic control, security screening, and protected area operations, preparing them for deployment in higher-risk and specialised environments.

The programme develops future-ready and emergency response capabilities through exposure to robotics and automation in security operations, plus competencies aligned to the SCDF CERT framework via fire incident response training. The Industry Experience component provides structured exposure to real-world security operations within a regulated environment, helping participants understand operational practices and workplace expectations whilst facilitating job placement opportunities.

What You'll Learn
