This subject will cover specific provisions of the Penal Code of Singapore. The defences set out in the Penal Code will also be explored and covered. It will also examine offences under other statutes such as the Misuse of Drugs Act, Prevention of Corruption Act, Computer Misuse Act, Immigration Act and the Road Traffic Act. The statutes as well as the case law will be examined in some detail.

Certification
Upon successful completion of the modular unit, students will be awarded the Statement of Result which can count towards the attainment of the Diploma in Legal Executive Studies.
